She is survived by: her daughters, Alma Staton (Levorn) of Lansing and Cenora Williams of Michigan City, Indiana; her sister Ruth London of Atlanta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Ronald Mock (Janell) of Inkster, Michigan, Tracy Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, Khapre Hollins (Tremayne) of Lansing, Michigan, Nikeya Lawhorn of Indianapolis, Indiana, Austin Williams of Miami Beach, Florida, Anthony Williams (Courtney) of Yorktown, Chanette Staton of Bangkok, Thailand and Lourise Charles of Baltimore, Maryland; her sister-in-law Kellie Pitts; her daughter-in-law Artelia Martin Smith; her niece Vicki Pitts; her great-nephew Reverend John McGee; her family, Susan Hall (Greg), Annie Jean Childs (Anthony), Jamie Dennis (Jackson), Marlene Smith and James Smith, Jr.; her husband Reverend James W. Smith; her siblings, Leslie, Isiah Jr., Frank, Arthur Pitts, Vertie Mae Pitts and Eva Laverne Pitts-Johnson; her daughters, Mary Knighten and Sileane "Cookie" Martin; her daughter-in-law Mildred Smith; her son Reverend Michael Ray Martin; and her sons-in-law, Carl Knighten and Allen Williams. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Church of Union Pier (16009 Lakeshore Rd, Union Pier, MI 49129). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
