He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bond and Mary Bond (Christianson); his son John Joseph Bond Sr.; his stepdaughter Phyllis Setterblad; and his sister Carolyn.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carr of Union, MI; his daughter Lisa Mae Bond (Dan Bresien); his daughter-in-law Rebecca Bond; and his siblings, Linda and Leroy. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Billings Funeral Home (812 Baldwin St, Elkhart, IN 46514). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
