He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Hempton and Carol Hempton (Nash); his wife Denise Wilson; his children, Nicole DeHaan (Ben) of Mass City, Daniel Hempton of Sebewaing, Jessica Schwartz (Joseph) of Sebewaing and Tyler Parrish; his siblings, Peggy Tucker-Manley, Theresa McElhinney and David Hempton, Jr.; his grandchildren, Hope Miley (Nathan), Ryan Reaver, Derek Reaver, Bree DeHaan, Gerald DeHaan, Michael, Theresa, Natalie, Jazmyne, Lexi, Winter, Rylie, William Hempton, Kylie LaPratt, Sophie, Alexander Schwartz and Tater Parrish; his great grandchildren, Eris, Maverick and Arthur Miley; and his siblings' children, Donald McElhinney (Kat), Anna Martinson (Jason), David Hempton, III and Ivan Hempton.
