It is with sadness that the passing of Dorothy Clare Moon in Utica, Michigan is shared. Dorothy, born on June 14, 1935, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Groesbeck and Clara Groesbeck; her husband Benjamin; and her siblings, Robert Groesbeck, Shirley Kraemer, Ethel Birko and Donald Groesbeck.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Lynn (Jim), Jeff Moon (Peggy), David Moon (Jennifer), Cathy Peck and Nancy Poxson (Jereme). She is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Martin de Porres Catholic Parish Church (31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
