She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Whittey and Viola Whittey; and her sister Janice Bilpo. She is survived by: her husband Edward James "Jim" Bennett, Jr.; her children, Edward James "Jimmy" Bennett, III (Susan) of Simpsonville, SC, Jennifer Lee Tidwell (David) of Hendersonville, TN and Jessica Marie Bennett-Tankersley (Alan) of Shelby Township, MI.; her grandson Gus Kaminski; her siblings, Jeffrey (Shawn) and Jorja (Vince); her sister-in-law Margaret Bennett; and her friend Patricia Emenheiser.
