It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Rose Mullin of Utica, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Downey and Violet Downey; her husband John Mullin; her children, Kimberly Crews and Harold Wheatley, Jr.; her son-in-law Bernie Ramales; her grandson Kyle Hester; and her siblings, Patrica Nickel, Timothy Downey and Daniel Downey.

She is survived by: her children, Michele Whitt (Rick), Rosemarie Ramales and Sean Wheatley (Jenny); and her siblings, William Downey (Judy), Kevin Downey (Monica) and Kathy Lawrence (Augie). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
