He was predeceased by: his sister Ruth Marilyn Work. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Southard of Vandalia; his children, Robin VanZile (Doug) of Vandalia, Beth Iavagnilio of Elkhart, Kristin Christopulos (Larry) of Bristol, Karla Kiner (John Schirripa) of Dowagiac, Karen Anderson (Doug) of Niles and Scott Southard (Glenda) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his brother David Southard (Kris) of Terre Haute. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty- three great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
