Leo Byrd Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Leo Byrd of Vandalia, Michigan. Leo, born on May 2, 1944, passed away on June 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Bernard Byrd and Katherine E. High; and his brothers, Charles "Tony" Byrd and Wilburn H. Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Byrd of Vandalia; his children, Ro'Mell Jerome Dungey of Cassopolis and Candace Griffin of Texas; his grandchildren, Kayden Dungey, Alycia Ferguson, Ariana Ferguson and Evan Ferguson; his siblings, Joan Williams (Gregory), Nancy Byrd Oldham, Stephan Byrd (Valerie) and Robert Milton; his siblings-in-law, Eric Dungey (Redell) and Nora Lee (James); and his stepmother Frances Byrd. He is also survived by cousins nieces and nephews.
