We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2025, at the age of 86, Charlie L. Hill (Vassar, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie William and Rena Hill (Ross); his grandson Jacob; his son-in-law Robert Lee; his siblings, Connie Hill, William and James Hill; and his brother-in-law David Bosworth.
He is survived by: his wife Mary James; his children, Deborah Bradford, Wava Ready (Kenneth), Roy Hill, Tammy Metiva (Jeffrey), Christine Rich (Craig) and Catherine Lee; his grandchildren, Heather Marcoux (Eric), Kayla Bradford, Michael Hill, Veronica Myers, Kayla Young (Scott), Zach Metiva, Amanda Jacobs (Austin), Alicia Kushba, Asheley Rich, Daniel Rich, Nicole Maule (Joshua Sprague), Brandon Lee and Alex Lee; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Josh, Dakota, Jadyne, Carter, Blake, Hudson, Nora, Sophia, Tucker, Abigal and Myla; and his siblings, Wava Bosworth and Bruce Hill (Paula). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Cerebral Palsy Foundation or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
