It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Benedict (Vermontville, Michigan), who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Benedict and Edith Benedict (VanBlarcom); and his grandparents, Ernest, Etta Benedict (Walsh), Guy and Bertha VanBlarcom (Gorham).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Benedict (Fluger); his children, Shirley Julaine Benedict Stilgebauer (Kenneth), Terry Bruce Benedict (Maureen) and Jackie Dené Thompson (John); the mother of his children Margaret Joan Price Benedict; his daughter Sarah Louise Benedict; the mother of his child Genevieve d'Argy (Eunice Borelli); his sisters, Merial Das (Sunil) and Mary Jo Brimmer; his brother-in-law Tom Schmidt; and his siblings, Iris Wion (Leroy), Cherry Smart (Jimmy), Karen Usitalo (Jim), Brenda Bendict and Brian Benedict (Lorraine). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
