Douglas Frank Thompson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thompson and Virginia Thompson (Jones); his siblings, Blodwen VanHove, Joyce Hudson, Patricia McDonald and Jacklyn Felske; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie LaTarte; his children, Michele Thompson (Niles) and Scott (Cari); his grandchildren, Eilee, Tatum, Avery and Graham; and his siblings, Ruth Briggs (Ron), Ernest Thompson (Kathleen), William Thompson and Ralph Thompson (Audrey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Durand Chapel (501 N Saginaw St, Durand, MI 48429). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (700 Columbia Dr, Durand, MI 48429).
Memorial Contributions in Doug's name may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
