He was predeceased by: his son John Hough; his grandson Justin Hill; his parents, Peter Hough and Iva Walcutt; his stepfather Orville Walcutt; and his brother Michael Hough.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Hough; his children, Mary Jo Earl (Steve) of Blanchard and Bill Hough (Jill) of Blanchard; his daughters-in-law, Traci Hough of Lakeview, Teresa Liscombe (Ed) of Albion, Beth Thomas of Grand Blanc, Alicia "Mickie" Fredricks (Dan) of Blanchard and Debbie Shearer (James) of Toledo, OH; his grandchildren, Michael Hough, Maryssa Payne, Davis Liscombe, Cody Woolworth, Connor Woolworth, Colton Hough, Colin Hough, Brandon Thomas and Emily Thomas; his sister Margaret Gandy of Remus; and his close friends, Tom Bruursema and Megan Wiswesser. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
