He was predeceased by: his parents, William Miller and June Miller; and his siblings, Gerri Alexander and George Miller. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Porter; his children, John, Jr. Miller (Kristin) of British Columbia, Canada and Rebekah Engler (Andy) of Vicksburg; his grandchildren, Uriah, Mamie Rose, Elliot, Ava and Zoe; and his brothers, William "Billy" Miller, Jr. and Robert "Bobby" Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
