John S. Polasek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John S. Polasek of Vicksburg, Michigan, born in Plainwell, Michigan, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Polasek and Vita Polasek (Mancuso); and his brother Joe. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Katie Polasek (Greg Bassett) of Holland, Joe Polasek (Chandra) of Portland and Anna Harrington (Jesse) of Taylor; his grandchildren, Isaac, Teddy, Sam, Josephine, Evelyn, James and Lucas; and his brother Tom Polasek (Raye). He is also survived by Paw Paw and several nieces and nephews.
John was forever miffed that the COVID pandemic robbed them of a planned trip to Africa, but he and Liz were blessed to visit five different continents sharing countless memories.
