She was predeceased by : her parents, Augustus Lucas-Cates and Marie Lucas-Cates (Branson); and her husband Thomas. She is survived by : her children, Debra Redmond (Michael) of Southfield and Duane Thomas; her grandchildren, Lucas Redmond, Erin Redmond, Corey Redmond (Jacqui), Mickey Redmond (Abby) and Alexandra; her sister Sue Davis; and also, Nicolas, Joseph Asbel (Aris) and Cassandra Armstrong (Brian). She is also survived by her 12 great grandchildren.
