He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nelson and Bessie Nelson; and his siblings, Ron, Gary, Rex and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Chasity (Ray), Chad and Brad; and his brother Roger. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
