He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nichols and Katherine Nichols (White); and his brother John Clark. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Simpkins; his children, Teresa Caswell, Rosella McDonald (Kenneth), Shan Nickols and William Nickols Jr. (Cher); his siblings, Shirley Turner (Charles), Robert Nichols and Charles D. Nichols; his grandchildren, Tiffany Larson, Stephanie Tobias, Cloe Nickols, Marisa Hudson and Kelsey Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Nickols, Emily Tobias, Bradley Mooney, Aaron Tobias and William Larson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
