He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony and Alma Alina Plesh (Rautio); his brother Steven; and his parents-in-law, William and Vivian Bolen.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Bolen; his daughters, Jana Susanne Reppond (Douglas), Angela Jean, Katie Elizabeth Rounds (Mark) and Carly Rae Freund (Wayne); his grandchildren, Alina, Trace Kolehmainen, Matthew, Meghan Reppond, Connor, Grayson Kimmes, Iley, Cale Rounds, Damon, Isabella and Vivian Freund; his brother Anthony; his nephews, Patrick (Karen), Paul, Jason (Anne) and Matt Plesh; his sisters-in-law, Annette Plesh and Patty Plesh; and his close friend Dennis Libertoski (Zer). He is also survived by many other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
