He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Erland Berg and Martha Odelia Berg (Mustapaa); his wife Flo; his sister Gerry Whitburn; his brothers-in-law, Mark V. Miljevich and Bill McClellan; and his nephew Mark D. Miljevich.
He is survived by: his children, James Jr. Berg (Tracy) of Wakefield and Erin Bunt (Noah) of Bessemer; his grandsons, Travis, Dylan and Austin Berg; and his siblings, Greta Hutchison (Michael) of Germantown, Linda McClellan of North Port, Martha Miljevich of Wakefield and David Berg (Shirley) of Wakefield. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church (1202 Putnam St, Wakefield, MI 49968). A wake will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
