She is survived by: her children, Karen Sanborn, Gary Niemela (Liisa), Dennis Niemela (Sue), Ronald Niemela (Ann), John Niemela (Kristine) and James Niemela; her grandchildren, Adam Sanborn (Michelle), Ben Sanborn (Jessica), Stephanie Niemela, Josh Niemela (Sarah), Lara Niemela, Luke Niemela (Jennifer), Dyonne Aspinwall (Don), Nicole Urbis (Josh), Jessica Donayre (Cesar), Theresa Kretovic (Chris), Daniel Niemela (Ashley), Michelle Miller (Justin), Nathan Niemela (Marja-Liisa), Jennifer Jacobson (Paul), Cory Niemela and Amy Niemela; her great grandchildren, Eden Sanborn, Peyton, Trenton Sanborn, Alivia, Kayla, Skylee Niemela, Eero, Axon Niemela, Lexi Aspinwall, Jaeden Lyons, Klara Urbis, Mila Donayre, Ella Kretovic, Weston, Mason Niemela, Ayla, Markus, Maya Miller, Emma, Abigale Niemela, Mara, Siri and Sven Jacobson; and her pet Mandy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (E 8223 Sanders Rd, Bessemer, MI 49911). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
