We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2023, at the age of 91, Martin Haavisto of Wakefield, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lydia Haavisto (Jurmu) and Valentine Haavisto; his wife Joyce; and his daughter Ruth Cole. He is survived by : his daughter Caryn Ruetten (Alan); his grandchildren, Melissa Ruetten (Thomas Tran) of Phoenix, AZ, Krysta, Kelley Ruetten Antwerp (Tobie Speleman) and Andrew; his children, Greg Cole (Lindsay) of Mosinee, WI, Sheree Knauf (Tim) of Hanover Park, IL and Melanie Switlick (Zack) of Wausau, WI.; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Landon, Lydia Cole, Noah, Theo, Max Tran, Dayne, Aiden and Mack Switlick.
