He was predeceased by: his parents, John Emil and Elma Saari (Harju). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jason (Shannon) and Megan Maki (Jim); and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kaelyn, Lincoln, Mack, Nash Saari, Carly and Landon Maki.
