She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertie Day and Violet Day (Elliott); her husband Paul W. Shaffer; her son Robin Shaffer; her daughter-in-law Carol Shaffer; and her brothers, Glenn, Paul, Ronald and Don Day.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Shaffer of Waterloo, IN, Scott Shaffer (Corena) of Pioneer, OH, Eileen Shaffer (Joe) of West Unity, OH, Rebecca Stiverson (Alan) of Hudson, Teresa Fuller of Edon and Linda Grubbs (Carlos) of Hillsdale; her daughter-in-law Margaret Shaffer of Nevada; and her sister-in-law Lillie Junge of Holgate, OH.. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
