He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hansen and Sarah Hansen; his sister Gail; his siblings-in-law, Warren Worden and Zara Hansen (Woody); his son-in-law Chris Martin (Sandi); and his grandson James Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Anderson; his children, Russ Hansen (Krista) of Traverse City, MI and Sandi Martin of Lino Lakes, MN; and his siblings, Woody Hansen of Traverse City, MI, Ruth Hilden (Ron) of Rockford, IL and Vicki Jacobson-Bickham (Kirk) of Hartland, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Mission Covenant Church W (W5213 Number 14 Rd, Wallace, MI 49893). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Bethel Mission Covenant Church, Samaritan's Purse and Christian Radio Station W.R.V.M. Keep Gerald's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
