He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Newlin and Alma Newlin (Anderson); his siblings, Gordon (Evelyn), Norman (Gloria), Marvin, Warren (Clara), Ethel (Stanley), Doris (Roger) and Avis; his sisters-in-law, Ingrid and Linnea; and his son-in-law Rickey.
He is survived by: his child Jerry; his wife Mildred "Milly" Granquist; his great grandchild Tessa Mee (Andrew); his grandchildren, William, Benjamin, Theodore, Taya Hoenstine (Justin), Griffin, Poppy, Kajsa Coblentz (Zach), Ember, Atlas and Wolfe; his siblings, Ronald Newlin and Betty LaPointe (John); and his in-laws, Shirley Newlin, Ed Granquist and Carl Granquist (Peggy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
