He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mikhail Velikanov and Maria Luybarskaya; his wife Valentina Velikanova; his children, Darya Olewin (Matthew) and Natalya Velikanova (Patrick McNulty); and his granddaughter Olivia. He was also cherished by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home - Walled Lake (340 N Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
