We bid farewell to Roger Darrell Adkins of Walled Lake, Michigan, born in Hazard, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Roger touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Adkins and Myrtle Adkins; his wife Lydia "Pete" Adkins; and his siblings, Mozel Roberts, Truman Roberts, Porter Roberts, Rodney Adkins and Lonnie Adkins Jr..
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Combs; his daughters, Angela Komasara (Mike), Chrystal Roessler (Kevin), Corinna St (Dave) and April Hipps; and his stepchildren, David Carroll (Norma), Daniel Carroll (Heather), Kimberly Rochowiak and Kelly Hughes (Douglas). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and more than 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home - Walled Lake (340 N Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Orchard Grove Community Church (850 Ladd Rd, Walled Lake, MI 48390).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Orchard Grove Community Church.
