Alfred O. Manteuffel Obituary
We announce the death of Alfred O. Manteuffel of Warren, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 88. Alfred will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred O. F. and Grethe Manteuffel (Petersen); his wife Virginia (Oswald); his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kubik Manteuffel; his sister Karen Kolseth; and his niece Lise Kolseth Jordan.
He is survived by: his children, Kathi Seidl, Kristin Trewhella (Bill) and Scott Manteuffel; his grandchildren, Michael Seidl (Lauryn), Kyle Bradford (Jesse), Amy Bingham (Billy), Katy Jo Vandeneynde, Christopher, Daniel and Eric Trewhella; his great grandchildren, Holly, Quinn, Rosalie Seidl, Aubrey, Kayden Bingham and Lily Vandeneynde; his in-laws, Lynda Golchert (Gordon) and Dale Kolseth; his daughter Tracy Takacs; and his friends, Lori Schlegel and Rev. Richard Steensma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins.
