We bid farewell to Amy Gromek of Warren, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 6, 2025 at the age of 59. Amy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Alexander Rataj. She is survived by: her mother Deanna Rataj; her husband Gaines; her sons, Blake and Cameron Gromek; her siblings, Michael Rataj (Pam Rataj), Colleen Taraskavage and Janine Risk (Jimmy Risk); her daughter-in-law Anna Spidel; her nieces and nephews, Steven Taraskavage (Devyn Taraskavage), Alex Bowman, Kelsey Morelli (Andrew Morelli), Janna Copi and Phoebe Risk; her great-niece Mia Morelli; and her pet Luna.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Kent Lake Elementary PTO (via Venmo @Jennifer-Shottroff-1), in honor of Miss Amy's deep love for her school and students.
