He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanisław Walawender and Maria Walawender; and his brother Józef Walawender. He is survived by: his wife Helen Walawender; his children, Christine McClelland (Robert), Barbara Wisniewski, Richard Walawender (Brenda), Chester Walawender (Julie), Joann Spencer (William), Diane Burlison (James) and Anna Mathie (Craig); his grandchildren, Cassandra McClelland, Alexander McClelland, Christopher Wisniewski (Leann), Nicholas Wisniewski (Meghan), Angela Wisniewski-Cobbina (Awenate), Nicole Tabin, Andrew Walawender (Katelyn), Teresa Walawender, John Walawender (McKenna), Maria Walawender, Timothy Bazil (Megan), Carlee Gaidica (Matthew), Jenna Sanders (Mathieu), Matthew Burlison (Olivia), Stephanie Hall (Barrett), Joshua Mathie, Luke Mathie and Joseph Mathie; his great grandchildren, Estella, Vera, Jax Wisniewski, Maximilian, Lillian, Olivia Wisniewski, Baldwin Ama Cobbina, Caitlin, Clara Tabin, Genevieve, Gemma Walawender, Huxley, Theo Gaidica, Violet and Sadie Burlison; and his sisters, Stanisława Chamerska (late Stanisław), Zofia Walisiewicz (late Zdzisław) and Danuta Wrona (Kazimierz). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
