It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Tourangeau (Warren, Michigan), who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Tourangeau and Hoyt Penabaker II; her son Hoyt "Alan" Penabaker III; her sister Janet; and her parents, John Locke and Margarie Locke.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory (Karen Osenkowski) and Scott Penabaker (Cindy); her stepchildren, John, James and Ellen Tourangeau; her grandchildren, Erika (Matthew), Niklas and Maija; her stepgrandchildren, McKenna, Lauran and Derrick; her great grandchildren, Leah, Matthew, Ryan, Rachel and Kate; and her siblings, Frederick and Mary Lou. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
