With sadness, we share the passing of Betty Jo Hocker (Warren, Michigan). Betty, born on July 31, 1933, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hinant and Erlene Hinant; her sister Florence Ellen Wilcoxon; and her cousin Barbara Jean Fleming. She is survived by: her husband Jack Hocker; her children, Robin Posada, Kelly Stolman (Marc), Kerry Hocker, Timothy Hocker (Leslie) and Andrew Hocker (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Greg Posada (Caitlyn), Scott Posada (Jessica), Eric Posada, Erin Macocha (Jordan), Nicholas Hocker, Chad, Larry, Bryan and Eva; and her great grandchildren, Oliver Posada, Ozzy Posada, Liam Posada and Violet Quinn Macocha. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
The lying in state was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warren Woods Baptist Church (14251 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
