He is survived by: his children, Calvin W. Holmes, Paula Ireland (Gordon), Julia Stanziale and Lisa O'Brien; his grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer), Jamie, Loren, John (Christine) and Jordan (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Preston, Makhi, Makayla, Mia, Brooklyn, Logan, Jace, Wade and Felix; and his sister Louella.
