He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Ewald Tacke and Florence Tacke (Hermann); his wife Eleanor (Ellie) Tacke (Atherton); and his siblings, Ruth Doreau (Arnold) and Harold Tacke.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Tacke-Pucylowski (Mark) and Paul Tacke (Susan); and his grandchildren, Olivia Pucylowski and Trent Tacke.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home (29440 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (30003 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092).
