He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sakowsky and Katie Sakowsky. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine England (David) and Kimberly Sakowsky (Douglas); his grandchildren, Joseph England, James England, Nicholas England, Andrew England, Madeline England and Lily Smith; and his sisters, Joanne Krist and Valerie Minty (Mark).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D. S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home (30009 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Anne Catholic Church (32000 Mound Rd, Warren, MI 48092). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038).
