He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben John and Bernardine Augusta Bania; his siblings, Thomas and Kenneth (Lorraine); his nephew Keith Bania (Lisa); and his close friend Lona Lietz.
He is survived by: his brother Gerald (Laurie); his nieces, Karen Bania, Shelly Bania and Kristine Butcher (Michael); and his nephew Scott Bania (Kelly).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dennis' name are appreciated to either Meals on Wheels of Macomb or to the Michigan Humane Society.
