She was predeceased by: her parents, John Straschewski and Ida Straschewski; and her husband Walter. She is survived by: her children, Denise McCord, Carol Baas and Glenn Salbert; her grandchildren, Kendra Smith (DJ), Ed Salbert (Amanda), Jamie Osborne, Stacy Conroy (Jim), Jeremy McCord (Leah), Cory Baas (Jessie) and Kyle Baas (Sam); her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Adrianna, Kenneth, Brianna Ramage (Elic), Dylan, Lily, Wyatt, Aiden and Ethan; her great great grandchildren, Bentley, Landynn, Elianna and Hollie; and her friend Wally Anchor.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ford Funeral and Cremation Service (26560 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015). The lying in state was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Calvary Lutheran Church (8129 Packard Ave, Warren, MI 48089). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
