We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 86, Elizabeth Grzelak of Warren, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Penick and Mary Penick (Poston); her husband Wally Grzelak; and her brother George Penick. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Grzelak, Paula Kane (Timothy) and Joseph Grzelak (Stacy); her grandchildren, Erin Kane, Shannon Kane, Ryan Grzelak and Alex Grzelak; her sister-in-law Cheryl Penick; her niece Michelle Johnston; and her nephew Todd Penick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Warren (11470 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48093). The lying in state will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM at the St. Raymond-Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (20103 Joann Ave, Detroit, MI 48205-1136). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
