It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene M. Pelkey of Warren, Michigan, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Zaremski and Agnes Zaremski; and her brothers, Bill (late Penny), Mitchell (late Tillie) and Richard (late Fran).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Laukonis (Steve) and Kevin Pelkey (Melissa); and her grandchildren, David (Tami), Nicole, Amanda (Brandon), Josh (Megan), Jessica (Tim), Samantha, Kevin Richard (Tory), Patrick and Jennifer. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Warren (11470 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
