He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Sawyer and Jermaine Melton Sawyer; and his wife Trudy Ball Sawyer. He is survived by: his son Jon Alan Sawyer (Meelike Pandis); his sister Linda Sass; his brother-in-law Robert Sass; his niece Nicole Sass; his great-nephew JB Sass; his stepdaughter Donna Ball; and his stepgrandchildren, Raynie Reizen, Nick Reizen, MacKenzie and Harper Reizen.
