He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louise; his children, Maureen Peterson (Brett), Brian Doyle (Kim), Karen Doyle and Sheila Gappy (Hans); his grandchildren, Hannah, Aidan, Eric (Kara), Colleen (James), Adam (Kate), Kate, Erin, Ian, Noah and Ava; his great grandchildren, Colin and John; and his siblings, Noreen Schroeder, Patricia Beaupre and Mickey David (Richard).
