He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Scopel and Tino Scopel; his wife Rosie; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Horosko and Mike Konopnick.
He is survived by: his brothers, Bryan Scopel (Irene) and Hugh Connor; his grandson Jackson; his friend Costco; his children, Bryan Scopel and Kellie Nickovich (Kelly Costello); his grandson Oliver Nickovich; and his siblings, Hugh Conner (Janet), Marge Horosko, Mary (Pat Teague) and Nancy Konopnick.
