She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marvin D. "Red" James and Vennie Crabtree James; her husband Edward R. Collins Sr.; her brothers, Kenneth and Johnny James; and her children, Benson James, Edward R. Collins Jr., Lisa R. Landry and Patricia G. Collins. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
