Joan Nowak Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Nowak (Warren, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffin and Dorothy Griffin; her husband Ralph Nowak; and her siblings, Barbara Layman and Robert Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, David Nowak, Diane Olkowski (Michael) and John Nowak (late Michelle); her grandchildren, Joshua Nowak (Alyson), Brian Nowak (Samantha), Andrew Nowak (Marissa), Katie Davis (Deland), Mark Olkowski (Elena), Eric Nowak and Christopher Nowak; and her great grandchildren, Poppy, Boone, Tallulah and Odis Nowak. She is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D. S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home (30009 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Faustina Catholic Church (14025 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A Mass was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
