He is survived by: his wife Willene Phinney; his sons, John Monte Phinney, Jr., Douglas Michael Phinney and Timothy Paul Phinney (Aubrielle); his grandchildren, Jacob Phinney, Jessica Roark (Daniel), Jennifer Doerr, Douglas Michael Phinney II, Justin Phinney, Timothy Phinney, Jr., Joseph Phinney Lee Harper, Jr. (Caitie), Zachary and Savanah Harper; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Reaghann, Viktoria, Veronica, Samuel, Derek and Keldan; his sister Linda New (Robert); and his brother-in-law Gerald McCormick.
