He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Alfred Alastra; and his sister Bernice Alastra. He is survived by: his wife Eliza Sinclair Spence; his children, Tisha Marie Holdwick (Rick), Nicole Lynn Zubor (Thomas), Kevin Lee Alastra and Cheryl Ann Holloway (Alexander); his grandchildren, Hailey, Ricky, Talen and Perseus; and his sisters, Pat Alsup and Beth Blee (Dale).
