She was predeceased by: her parents-in-law, Charles and Stephanie Dimock. She is survived by: her significant other Michael Dimock; her parents, Lawrence Klerkx and Gloria Klerkx; her brother Brian Klerkx (Andrea); her nibling Courtney Klerkx; and her cousins, Linda, Carol, Lindsey, Christopher, Fur-Babies, Sammy and Bella.

Due to the current Covid pandemic, the family has chosen to host a Memorial Service for Karen to be held at a later date.
