He is survived by: his children, Schuyler Thomas Sears "Tom", William Sears (Jill) and Kathy Byerly (Lee); his grandchildren, Rebecca Kuptz (Ken), Jason Sears (Bridget) and Jason Haithcox; his great grandchildren, Kingsley, Ruby Sears, Clara Cunha and Sabina Schmincke; and his close friend Carl Sobolewski.
