With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lurline Ellen Sears in Warren, Michigan, born in Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving W. Willis and Ruth Willis (Bryant); her siblings, Jerry Willis, Phillip Willis and Julie McGhan; her parents-in-law, Kingsley Gortner Sears Sr. and Ruby Sears; and her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Sears.
She is survived by: her spouse Kingsley; her children, Tom Sears, Kathy Byerly (Lee), Bill Sears (Jill), Sabina Schmincke (Penselin) and Clara Cunha (Vianna); her grandchildren, Rebecca Kuptz (Ken), Jason Sears (Bridget) and Jason Haithcox; and her great grandchildren, Kingsley Sears and Ruby Sears.
