We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2026, at the age of 77, Michael Henry Schabath of Warren, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kay (late Mario), Larry (MaryLou), Nora (late Harold), Danny (late Sandra), Eileen (late Stanley), Pauline (Eddie) and Mary.
He is survived by: his spouse Kim Corbeil; his children, Kimberly Froude (Mike), Shannon Tennant Michael J. (John) and Schabath (Brandi); his grandchildren, Sheldon, Madison, Erica, Adam, Sara and John; and his siblings, Gene (late Grace), Ray, Charlie (Cheryl), Marty (Trisha), Lenny, Florence and Rosie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 6691 (17075 Anita Ave, Fraser, MI 48026).
